The simplest bullish strategy.  

Used mostly when one of the following is true:

• Options are not liquid enough to trade
• The stock is extremely low priced
• When the trader wants a longer-term position in the stock

Simply buy shares of the stock in anticipation of selling at higher prices after the earnings report.
