Lululemon Foot-traffic Getting a Big Boost

Last quarter LULU shares surged more than 13% following a strong report that topped analysts’ expectations, with its CEO noting the company is on track to surpass its 2023 revenue targets by the end of this year. LikeFolio data confirms that store traffic is helping bolster demand for the athletic apparel company this holiday season. You can see this boost on the chart below.

Consumer mentions of shopping in a Lululemon brick-and-mortar location have increased +26% YoY…a powerful indicator of elevated foot traffic. So, how does LULU stack up in regard to digital mentions? Digital mentions also show continued improvement: Lululemon digital mentions (ordering online or on the company’s app) have increased +14% YoY. Translation: LikeFolio data suggests Lululemon is on pace to deliver another nice report. But long-term, competition may be brewing.
