The recent strength seen across various gaming trends has manifested in record revenues for companies with exposure to the gaming space (NVDA, LOGI, HEAR).

It has also given rise to some surprising secondary trends.

The number of people talking about gambling on eSport events (professional gaming events) has steadily risen over the past 3 years. The trend hit a new all-time high in 2021, currently up +37% YoY on a 90-day Moving Average.

Although it’s safe to say that eSports are still in their infancy, the fact remains that there’s a growing number of individuals who care enough to wager money on the outcomes of these tournaments.
