Lululemon: still the hottest gift under the tree?
Lululemon is a Wall Street darling. Shares have outperformed peers, gaining ~220% in value in the last 2 years. As shares approach all-time highs, LikeFolio data is registering some softness in mention volume.
Last quarter mention volume increased +2% YoY, in line with Lululemon's revenue growth posted in 20Q2. This volume fell in 20Q3 (-28% QoQ), but we are watching some normalization into the current quarter as holiday shopping ramps. Wall Street has extremely high expectations for LULU. Continued softness in Mention volume and demand may be significant. We'll be watching to see if the company can hit the mark when it releases earnings after the bell.
